Where can I get a cheap website?
You can get one from Website in Days, from £295 for the Launch package, which covers 1 to 3 pages, with a free homepage design first. You see the design before you pay anything, the price is fixed in writing, and the deposit is only after you approve the free design. Cheap here means a fixed process, not a cut-down site: it still gets proper page titles, headings and a mobile-friendly layout.
How easy is it to get a website?
Pick a type, pick a colour, tell us your trade, business and town, and claim it on WhatsApp, by text message or by email. You never touch software or code. Send your words and photos however you already communicate, and we build it. If updates worry you, the Hands-Off package at £29 a month covers hosting, security updates, domain renewals and small text updates, so you never log in at all.
Does my business need a website?
If customers search for your trade and town, or ask an app to find someone like you, they need somewhere to land that shows what you do, how to contact you, and proof of your work. A Google profile alone only gives you a listing. A website gives you the full page, in your words, under your control, with your phone number front and centre. If all your work comes from word of mouth and you never need new customers, you may not need one yet, but it is often the first place a new customer checks.
I want a website, what do I do first?
Claim the free homepage design. Tell us your business name, your trade and your town, and any brand colours if you have them. We design your homepage, send it over, and you decide in your own time. If you like it, you approve it, pay the 50% deposit, send all your content, and the 48 working hour clock starts. If it is not right, you have spent nothing.
How much does a website cost?
Launch is from £295, Business is £595, and Premium is £1,195. Extra pages are £49 each. The Hands-Off Hosting Package is £29 a month, optional, with no contract, and you can cancel any time. Prices are fixed in writing before work starts, and extras are only added if you agree them first.
How long does it take to get a website live?
48 working hours, once you have approved the free design, sent all your content, and paid the 50% deposit. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. The free design itself comes first, so you are not paying for a site you have not seen.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every build ships with proper page titles, headings, schema and fast mobile performance, which is the foundation for being found. The Business package also includes a Google Business Profile set up for you. We do not promise a ranking, because ranking also needs reviews and time, and we will tell you honestly what to do next.
Do I own my website and my domain?
Yes. The domain ships with the website on payment, and you own it. We only keep managing the domain if you take the rolling monthly Hands-Off offer. Nothing is handed over until the final balance clears, and until then you get a preview link only.
What if I already have a website?
Tell us what you have first, and we will keep the wording and photos that are still worth keeping, and rebuild the rest. You still start with a free homepage design, so you can compare it with what you have now before you decide.
Why do I pay a deposit?
You do not pay a deposit to see the homepage mockup. That comes first, free, with no obligation, and if it is not right you have spent nothing. The deposit is only after you have seen the mockup, liked it, and said yes. It is 50% of the fixed price, and it covers the work that follows: building the full site, not just the one-page mockup, securing your domain name, which costs money to register, and setting up hosting. It also confirms your slot, so the 48 working hour build can start once we have the deposit and all your content. The remaining balance is only due before handover, and until it clears you get a preview link only.
